I have been working with vintage photographs of queer couples from around the time of the early 1900s pandemic. I used rosebud AI to place masks on them and various creative morphs and style transfers to create the looks. The images are haunting, a little sad and a reminder that we endure and will continue to endure. Photographs such as these are love letters from our past and show the power of the human spirit to triumph over adversity. They are couples in love, during a time when it was not safe for them, it shows how far we have come. The addition of the masks and the morphing shows the impact the arts have had and the impact of the virus on our lives. Even couples together weather the isolation of lockdown and the anxiety of the unknown vectors of the virus. However, lockdown has also enabled queer people to feel more comfortable, without societal influence and judgement there is more room to live as you are without recriminations, creating freedom of a different kind.

I am a 3D Digital artist working at the intersection of art and technology using Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence. I am also a public speaker with a number of talks, keynotes and panels under my belt. My most recent work is in exploring the nature of Non Binary Transness and my own genders and sexuality. my works have recurring themes of mythology and neoclassical inspired aesthetics combined with an entirely digital materiality.
