Whose heart? Mine, yours? And whose hand? Converting the image of this heart pendant into a handheld disc speaks of the trust we place in others to take care of us, and us of them.

The disc will be a small and intimate piece of my heart that simultaneously acknowledges the big world around us by referencing the sign language and colour palette of our urban environment.

SUPERPLEASED have, for many years, conducted their research into the urban context, observing and speculating on the potential for new expression in their work They reinterpret the cues present in the language of signs and the materiality of this environment into site- specific responses, most recently on the body.
